USDA funds running low…but still a little left!!!
A quick update…I’m hearing the funds for the USDA loan are running low. There should be enough funds for purchases/refinances to the end of this month, April. I’m watching this closely. If Congress helps out and replenishes these funds, then we can continue to use this loan program over the next few months. If they do not replenish these funds it will be October before we can use this program again, when their (USDA) fiscal year starts again. I will keep you informed on this as time goes on!!!
We still have the WHEDA, FHA and of course Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac for purchase loan programs. If one is a Veteran, the VA loan is another great option.
