Housing Market Recovering?

This is a good question; pending on who you talk to, one will get a variety of different answers-let’s take a look at where we are at now.  Interest rates are at an all time low, values have dropped on everything from single family homes to condos and even hitting the commercial markets. It is a great time to buy. In today’s society, we need to remember, it will take time for the economy to recover-it will take time for the markets to come back around.  We are in a society that wants instant gratification—be careful on this. We need the time for the market to recover. We were supposed to have this market correction in 2001/2002, but then 9/11 happened and the market did go the other way.  It became easier to get into a home, values soured, lending became loser, etc. etc—-then look what happened, the CRASH.  It will take time to recover.

At this time of year in Wisconsin, the leaves are turning colors; it will not be long and the snow will fly.  Typically this is a slow time in the market.  But let’s ask ourselves; is the glass half full or half empty? Again, pending who you talk to, it will determine the answer.  My thoughts-lets are optimistic-we have to be..What else do we have? Pessimism only breeds more pessimism-this is not good.  Now is the time to talk control of one’s finances, ones job, ones future…only you can decide on how full your glass will be.

What a more detailed explanation, take a look at this article posted on yahoo today, but remember this is a cycle we are going through-is your glass half full or empty?
